HOWARD CENTER DEVELOPMENT
The Howard Center development project highlights the need-based asset improvement amongst university officials. Aiming to expand campus infrastructure to more than academic use and integrate this edge of the campus into the urban fabric of Georgia Avenue and the expanding U Street District.
Added pavilions, a rainwater retention garden, commercial enterprises, and many more assets would benefit not only the community but longstanding presence of Howard along the Georgia Avenue corridor and in DC.
This project aimed to account for many researched university needs and measures brought on by students, university faculty and members, surrounding neighborhood, and broader DC residents.
