The Hillman Street Firehouse is a regenerated attached housing facility reimagined for the New Bedford, MA community. Nestled upon a hill overlooking the bay that used to be once for whaling and textile industries, New Bedford is one of the most exciting small historic towns on Massachusetts south coast.

The design intent was to preserve the historic character and charm and regenerate motifs, polish brick, and modernize fenestration. Combining it all, it made for an exciting preview to a bustling historic town with a renewed sense of pride in its architecture.
